Formerly Al Theisen Renovations, our locally owned, family business was founded in 2000 and became Al Theisen Homes in 2016. We grew out of a lifelong love for the city of Minneapolis, and began with a realization that many of the homes in the Twin Cities were in outstanding neighborhoods with fantastic "vintage" charm, but the interior layouts and finishes did not match what families today want in a house. We have a stellar reputation for transforming single-family homes into more efficient, modern and open homes with quality workmanship and finishes, while maintaining the integrity of the original era of the home.
As remodelers, our team now consists of Theisen Renovations, KJB Homes, K.Shimotsu Renovations and Genesis Remodeling who bring the same care and skill to our customers that we have prided ourselves on. We are now focused on design/consultation with the remodeling team, and oversee the Al Theisen Team of Coldwell Banker Realty as a leader in real estate sales.
As real estate agents licensed with Coldwell Banker Realty in the State of Minnesota, we also help negotiate the best possible sale and search until the buyer finds the perfect property - from a "turnkey" new listing on the market to a fixer upper. We have an advantage in the market of helping you assess a property right away, and are conveniently able to help you with such things as getting your home ready for sale and fixing up a home to fit you better once you've purchased it. We have achieved membership into Coldwell Banker's President's Club, an elite group of the company's top 50 realtors, for the past seven consecutive years.
